Since Instagram is so popular right now, I decided to put together a 22-day series of quick educational posts.

For the next 22 days I will post a quick video or photo that will cover various topics; from fitness to nutrition to living a healthy lifestyle.

The goal is to share some fitness and wellness information that will help you with your health-related goals.

DAY 21 OF 22

Today’s post is about Lifestyle.

Some general tips to live by…

Tip 1: You need to establish proper balance between the things that are important to you. Find adaquate time for family, yourself, work, religion, etc.

Tip 2: Incorporating exercise into your weekly routine will not only help with your physical health, but with mental and spiritual health as well.

Tip 3: Eat healthy, real foods and refer to the ‘Fit Tips – Nutrition’ post to learn more about eating well.

Tip 4: The body recovers, regenerates, and repairs when it is sleeping. Try to get 7-8 hours of sleep each night.

Tip 5: Participating in a hobby or activity that interests you will stimulate your mind and increase your happiness.

Tip 6: Avoid trying to do too much at once. Stay within your limits, ask for help, and remember that slow progress is better than no progress.

Tip 7: When life becomes overwhelming, remember to breathe, relax, and focus on the things and the people that are most important to you.

Tip 8. Change is inevitable. It’s going to happen and there’s nothing we can do about it. Embrace it and use change in your life to grow and improve.

Tip 9: Surround yourself with positive people. Interacting with negative people will cause you to lose energy, feel depressed, and leave you unhappy.

Tip 10: Laugh more.
