Since Instagram is so popular right now, I decided to put together a 22-day series of quick educational posts.

DAY 5 OF 22

Today’s post is about Stretching.

I recommend stretching and flexibility work to all my clients. It can improve circulation, increase range of motion, reduce stress, and it just plain feels good.


Before or after a workout? Generally speaking, I prefer a more dynamic warm-up to be done before workouts and to save the stretching for post workout.


Try not to bounce or force any stretches…focus on relaxing, breathing, and holding your stretches for at least 30 seconds. 1-2 minutes for some stretches is even better.

1. TRX chest
2. Quad/hip flexor
3. Back/lat
4. Hamstrings/calf
5. Glutes
6. Hamstrings/low back
