I’ve had the opportunity to work with a number of high level athletes. World champion Dominick Cruz, world champion Mike Chandler, and a number of other elite MMA fighters. I’ve also been lucky enough to work at some amazing facilities…
Fitness Quest 10, Alliance Training Center, Blackhouse San Diego, and, more recently, EZIA Human Performance. It’s always a blessing when I get to combine the two…great athlete and great facility…and this is what happens when I work with UFC Heavyweight Travis Browne at EZIA.
EZIA is located in Carlsbad, CA and offers training programs to a variety of clientele. While their foundation is built on athletic training for action sports, rugby, golf, triathlon and team sports-their programs inspire the champion in everyone. EZIA’s team includes Performance Coaches, Physical Therapists, Nutritionists and tech geeks. They’ve created a family of services that personalizes the holistic approach they’ve used with Olympic-level athletes for any level of fitness. An aspect of the EZIA approach that I support, is the fact that they have “systems” in place. There are programs in place to help folks reach their goals, regardless of that goal.
For the past couple camps, I’ve had the opportunity to work with UFC fighter Travis Browne at EZIA. Travis typically does more of his “off-season” training here in San Diego before he heads out to Jackson MMA in New Mexico.
Here are a couple clips from a training session we had earlier this year:
